We require all academy
trainees to maintain a safe and professional appearance throughout the
program. All students are required to wear flight suits as the standard
uniform of the school.
Safety
is an attitude that demands we minimize the risk of injury wherever
possible. You cannot harbor a culture of safety and ignore wearing
safety equipment such as nomex flight suits.
We have included all the equipment you will need to complete the
program. The only 'out of pocket' purchases you can expect will be
updated sectional charts and updated approach plates (We include a
current set upon enrollment, however updates are required periodically).
The purpose of the personal equipment kit is to package everything you
will need, so there are no hidden charges later.
USED EQUIPMENT:
If you are preparing for enrollment, contact the school and ask about
the availability of used personal equipment. Graduating students have
the option of keeping their equipment, or selling it back to the school
on consignment. We sometimes have used equipment available that can be
purchased at a discount.
