Our comfortable and professional classrooms are
the best training environment to learn academia associated with
aviation.
All pilots must understand the basics of
helicopter flight which include; aerodynamics, weather, airspace,
navigation, and FAA regulations. Many people feel these subjects
are, frankly, dry and boring. To make our courses effective, we
encourage student participation in projects that reinforce
learning the subjects. There will be no ‘death by PowerPoint.’
Bored students don’t learn, so we engage everyone in the class to help
them understand the materials. Students participate in projects
and activities that contribute to learning the subjects. All
students are expected to prepare for each class at home, so we don’t
re-read material students have already read. Instead, we choose to
focus class time on learning activities that challenge our students and
help them develop.
